The Retreat House is Numie's most private experience. Positioned beside tranquil Pelican Bay and surrounded by native bushland, this beautifully designed home feels worlds away, while remaining only minutes from Coles Bay and Freycinet National Park.

Inside, generous open plan living flows effortlessly outdoors where your own wellness sanctuary awaits. Spend slow mornings in the infrared sauna, alternate between the cold plunge and hot tub, share long lunches on the deck, or simply curl up beside the fire with nowhere else to be.

The landscape becomes part of everyday life here. Wallabies graze nearby, birdlife fills the trees, the Hazards glow pink at sunrise and stars appear by the thousands after dark.

Wake with the sunrise filtering through the trees, enjoy breakfast in your private dining pod, then spend the day exploring one of Australia's most remarkable coastlines.

Your tent is beautifully simple yet incredibly comfortable, complete with plush bedding, eco-friendly heating, private bathroom facilities and everything needed to unwind without distraction. You’ll need to move from the bedroom tent to the bathroom tent, but at least there’s a toilet and shower! 

As night falls, light the fire, toast marshmallows, watch wombats emerge at dusk and settle beneath a sky untouched by city lights.
