This relaxed coastal home is made for unhurried mornings, days spent exploring and quiet evenings around the outdoor fire pit. Large windows frame the sea, keeping the coastline firmly in view throughout your stay.
Seaglass House is a relaxed East Coast retreat with ocean views, thoughtful interiors and the easy feel of a classic beach cottage.
The sun-filled living area makes the most of the outlook, with generous windows framing the water. Settle in with a coffee, share a meal around the dining table or simply watch the changing conditions across the coast. Natural textures, collected pieces and a beautiful stone fireplace give the space warmth and character.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for an easy stay, including a pod coffee machine, while a washing machine and dryer make longer visits simple.
The bathroom is beautifully finished, with a spacious double shower and a natural stone basin set on locally crafted Tasmanian sassafras.
Seaglass House sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms, with a king bed in the main bedroom, a queen in the second and two single beds in the third. Comfortable beds and crisp linen make it easy to unwind after a day exploring the coast.
Outside, the setting is all about the ocean. Enjoy your morning coffee with the sound of the waves rolling into Paddy’s Beach, or settle in by the outdoor fire pit as the light fades over the water. The fire pit may be used when conditions allow, with fires kept small, supervised and fully contained.
Depending on the season, you may spot dolphins or migrating whales offshore, and clear nights often bring beautiful stargazing.
Guests have private access to the entire house. Paddy’s Beach is directly across the road, with beach access points approximately 300 metres away in either direction.
Seaglass House feels peaceful and tucked away, while still being close to the best of the East Coast. St Helens is around nine minutes away, Scamander and Beaumaris are only a few minutes by car, Binalong Bay is around 20 minutes away, and the wider Bay of Fires region can be reached within about 40 minutes.
Please note the driveway is extremely steep, so take care when entering and exiting, particularly in wet conditions. Mobile reception may also be inconsistent inside the house.
The pot belly fireplace inside the home is decorative only and is not available for guest use. The outdoor fire pit is subject to weather conditions, local fire restrictions and any total fire bans in place during your stay.
