Bicheno Beams is back this Winter: 27 June - 25 July, 2026
Bicheno Beams is fast becoming an unmissable annual event on the East Coast of Tasmania. 2026 will be the sixth year that Bicheno Beams has lit up the night sky in Winter.

But what is Bicheno Beams? Bicheno Beams is a family-friendly laser light show set to music. Rug-up and join the crowd in Bicheno’s Lions Park to enjoy the magic of the beams darting across the night sky to coordinated, atmospheric music.
Each show runs for 15-minutes. There are two different shows played on alternating nights: if you’d like to see them both, it’s ideal to stay two nights.

Book a table at Le Coq for 7pm for a delicious dinner straight after the Beams
Head to Bicheno Beer Co’s new brewery (down the lane behind Blue Edge Bakery) for a fireside drink before or after the Beams.
Just around the corner on Waubs Esplanade, enjoy a lobster roll, seafood platter or fish and chips at Lobster Shack Tasmania before the show.
Bicheno Penguin Tours are offering a special Off Season experience: Enjoy a penguin tour with transport afterwards to Bicheno Beams.
